Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is the next entry in the series made by Capcom, and for the first time in the history of the survival horror franchise, it's being delivered to fans through four different episodes that launch on a weekly basis.Įpisode 1 rolled out last week, and while it delivered a pretty good experience, it caused quite an uproar on the PC platform as it lacked any sort of cooperative mode, despite initially promising such a feature.Ī few hours ago a special beta update was rolled out through the Steam service for Revelations 2 that adds the local co-op mechanic but doesn't guarantee perfect functionality as more work is still needed. Resident Evil: Revelations 2 has received not just a beta update on PC to add the cooperative mode, but also its second episode and a public patch that should fix some of the other issues reported by users on the PC platform.
